About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to lead our Tax Services team as the Head of Tax Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and profitability of our tax department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and prioritize the use of resources within the tax team to ensure filing deadlines and client-agreed deadlines are met.
  • Agree monthly completion targets and annual learning and development plans with each team member.
  • Develop the team to complete relevant CPD and manage their study requirements alongside their performance objectives.
  • Develop systems for controlling and planning workflow, progress checking, managing performance, and standardizing procedures.
  • Grow a strong tax team and develop TC Harlands tax services.
Requirements
  • Proficient with CCH and Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of both corporate and personal tax.
  • High technical tax knowledge.
  • Must have own transport as our office is difficult to get to by public transport.
