Maintenance Assistant

Troo Hospitality is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel.
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented individual to support our maintenance operations, ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and meet our high standards. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the hotel's facilities are in good working order.
- Assisting with the management of on-site contractors to ensure health and safety compliance and efficient delivery of maintenance services.
- Maintaining hotel bedrooms and front-of-house areas to our brand standards, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaising with hotel departments to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery of services.
- Performing painting and decorating tasks to maintain the hotel's aesthetic appeal.
Requirements:
- Ability to carry out property maintenance tasks as required.
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Enthusiastic approach to work and problem-solving skills to ensure effective delivery of services.
