About The Role
We are seeking experienced and skilled Agricultural Technicians to join our team at all depots. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance work on agricultural and plant machinery. This will involve working at customers' premises and within our workshop at the depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance work on agricultural and plant machinery
- Ensuring job cards are written up promptly and accurately
- Following our health and safety regulations and policies at all times
- Taking part in technical training, both at Head Office and at the John Deere training centre
- Mentoring apprentices and trainees
About You
We are looking for individuals with a strong diagnostic ability, good all-round technical knowledge of agricultural and turf machinery, and a relevant technical qualification (such as an Agricultural Engineering degree). A driving license is essential, and strong customer service and customer-facing skills are also required. You will be able to work self-motivated and manage your own workload, as well as work as part of a team.
About The Package
We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, including a salary of up to £55,000 (dependent on experience), up to 25 days' holiday (plus Bank Holidays), a company vehicle, tool allowance, pension scheme, and extensive ongoing training. We also offer a range of benefits, including monthly 'Pay Day Breakfasts', Pizza Fridays, employee gifts, and long service awards.
