Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatry Assistant to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our podiatry team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings, including community and acute outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and domiciliary environments.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support to podiatrists, including assistance in ulcer/wound care and surgical clinics. You will also be required to run your own footcare clinics and conduct domiciliary visits, providing nail care under the guidance of a podiatrist. Additionally, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of clinics, including preparation of clinic rooms, ensuring smooth operation of multi-disciplinary team clinics, managing stock, and handling clinical administration.

  • Level 3 qualification in healthcare
  • Strong time management and IT skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, clinically challenging environment
  • Caring, proactive individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time permanent position, with a working pattern of Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 16:30pm.
