Job Title: Executive Director

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our team at Recruit North Recruitment. As a key member of our Board, you will play an active role in the running of our company, overseeing various administrative responsibilities and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources – managing staff, issuing contracts, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Payroll and auto-enrolment requirements
  • GDPR – ensuring compliance and awareness of our responsibilities
  • AML regulations – ensuring compliance
  • Overseeing Health and Safety
  • Insurance renewals – commercial combined, professional, and credit
  • Agreeing contracts for the supply of equipment and electricity
  • Overseeing the IT function and IT Manager
  • Managing the Business Risk Register
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a sound financial background and experience in overseeing finance and administrative functions within a small but busy company. The role will report directly to the Chair, and you will play an active role as a member of the Board in the running of the company. Consideration will be given to anyone who can demonstrate experience in overseeing and managing the areas listed above, and we are willing to consider either full or part-time candidates.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of around £70,000 (or pro rata if part-time). To apply for this role, you must already have the legal right to live permanently and work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorships, and we are unable to provide immigration advice.
