Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a senior doctor to join our team as a Locum Acute Medicine Consultant in a coastal location with scenic views nearby a large city. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate within General Medicine to work for an employer that can support their development.

Job Summary

As a Locum Consultant within General Medicine, you will work on a fixed-term contract within a clinically led service that incorporates a range of disciplines across 4 acute hospital sites and covers numerous community, specialist, and primary care facilities across a wide geography.

Essential Criteria
  • Current GMC full registration & licence to practice
  • MRCP
  • Participation on GiM on-call rota is essential (1:16 weekday & 1:8 weekends)
  • Minimum 6 months UK experience in the Specialty, minimum Consultant level.
  • Ability to demonstrate independent clinical experience, knowledge, and skill in General Medicine at Consultant level.

  • Care of the Elderly Special Interest
  • Acute Medicine Special Interest
  • Gastroenterology Special Interest
