We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Practicus on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, focusing on enhancing customer experience and accessibility.

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 months, with a daily rate of £400. The role will be based in our York office, with a requirement to work 3 days per week.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a portfolio of 3-4 projects, each valued between £3-5 million
  • Oversee project lifecycle from tender evaluation through to completion
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Mentor and guide Assistant Project Managers to support their professional development
  • Maintain project documentation, budgets, and schedules

**Required Skills and Experience**

  • Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience within the Rail industry
  • Strong understanding of rail terminology, processes, and project lifecycle
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
