Specialized Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialized Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide support to a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher. This position is well-suited for individuals possessing the necessary qualifications and experience in the field.

The Head Teacher is in search of a Full-Time SEN TA on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering personalized assistance to a Key Stage 2 student experiencing moderate learning challenges. Your main duty will be to provide dedicated support to facilitate this child's academic growth and integration into mainstream educational activities.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Full-time commitment, working 5 days a week, providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 student with moderate learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate effectively with the SENCo and fellow SEN Teaching Assistants to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Engage with parents to ensure a cohesive approach between home and school.

Position Details:

  • Compensation: £12.90 per hour, with weekly payments.
  • Working hours: 8:45 AM – 3:20 PM (including a 30-minute lunch break).
  • This is a temporary role with potential for permanence in the future.
