We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Childline Volunteer Engagement Lead. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our volunteers have the best possible experience.

About the Role

The Childline Volunteer Engagement Lead will be responsible for providing creative and key support to our volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles. This will involve working closely with our volunteer team to develop and implement strategies that promote volunteer engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to promote volunteer retention and satisfaction
  • Provide creative and key support to volunteers, including training and development opportunities
  • Work closely with the volunteer team to identify and address volunteer needs and concerns
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive volunteer experience
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background working with volunteers within a safeguarding or charitable context. You will also need to be passionate about supporting others, especially in situations which can be emotionally challenging.
