Position Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Piping Engineer with substantial experience in directing FEED Design teams. The role encompasses projects related to water treatment facilities, water injection systems, and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in equipment and plant layout, as well as piping design for both Onshore Brownfield and Greenfield projects, utilizing E3D software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of piping layouts and project scope by collaborating with Area Leads and Piping Designers.
  • Oversee the Piping Mechanical group to ensure completion of Piping Stress and Materials activities.
  • Review and provide guidance on modelled equipment, pipework, preliminary structures, civil interfaces, and access routes.
  • Coordinate with various engineering disciplines including Structural, Civils, Mechanical, Safety, and Process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project documents and participate in multi-discipline project Model Reviews.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Piping Design and Onshore Plant Layout.
  • Experience in crude processing layout and brownfield applications.
  • Ability to manage client expectations while providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with other engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling systems, preferably E3D.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree (BEng) is desirable.
  • Minimum requirement: Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Plant Process Engineering or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

This position requires a proactive approach to project execution and a commitment to maintaining high engineering standards.
