The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to establish a Strategic Events and Showcasing Team at University of the Arts London (UAL). This role will shape the university's events and showcasing strategy, working collaboratively with senior leadership, academic departments, and community engagement leaders.

About the Role

As the Associate Director of Events, you will oversee the development and implementation of a university-wide events and showcasing strategy. This includes coordinating activity, developing capability, and building infrastructure to support the university's events and showcasing teams.

You will work closely with UAL's senior leadership, academic departments, and community engagement leaders to design and execute a strategic approach to events and showcasing. This will involve increasing the reach of the university's external events, public programming, and UAL Showcase.

About You

We are looking for an innovative leader who is passionate about audience development and events strategy. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to connect with diverse audiences and create a compelling case for providing support.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role, so being comfortable working with diverse teams and influencing change is essential. You will also have a full understanding of professional standards for events and other associated responsibilities.
