**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our expanding team at Intertek. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine analytical tasks as part of the in vitro assessment of oral care products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical tasks, including the use of cutting and abrading equipment to prepare hard tissue samples.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to meet the requirements of our quality management system.
  • Perform data entry and data checks in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment in accordance with standard procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Academic background in science or previous experience in a laboratory role is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Good IT literacy skills, especially in Word and Excel.
  • Good time management skills, with a flexible approach to working.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work with others in a cooperative manner.
  • Conscientious with good documentation skills.
  • Driving license desired but not essential.
