Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Project Manager to join our team at the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing digital and technology projects and project teams on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage digital and technology projects and project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project governance frameworks to ensure effective project management and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Manage project budgets, stakeholder relationships, risk, issue, and dependency management, and the realization of project benefits.
  • Ensure effective change management processes are in place and document changes to deliverables.
  • Engage with assurance reviews and implement agreed recommendations.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of end-to-end project management of IT and digital change projects using different delivery methodologies and frameworks.
  • Track record of setting up projects with correct governance to ensure risks and issues are reported accurately and assurance is provided to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
  • Strong financial acumen to enable accurate forecasting and delivery against agreed budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and at pace.

  • Contributions towards Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme
