About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Support Worker to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Note Taking: Produce high-quality, accurate handwritten or typed notes for lectures, seminars, and tutorials, tailored to meet the individual needs of our students.
  • Review and Editing: Review notes at the end of each lecture or seminar to ensure they are in a suitable format for the student to access effectively.
  • Professional Relationship: Maintain a professional relationship with students, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality and act in the best interests of learners at all times.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Randstad to ensure that any concerns or needs of individual students are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess accurate spelling and grammar skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability, with the ability to work under time restrictions and meet deadlines.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Ideally, possess experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education, and hold a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
