Job Title: Data Center Engineer

CDS, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, is seeking a skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for providing server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment, including HPE Servers and Dell servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide server hardware support and maintenance services to customers
  • Install, terminate, and test data center interlink cabling (CAT-5e, CAT-6 6A, fibre optic)
  • Perform data center facilities management activities, including IMAC/D (Install, Move And Change, decommissioning) work, escorting external resources, and requesting access
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of HPE Proliant, Blade servers, and Dell Servers
  • Experience with patch cabling in a data center environment
  • Good knowledge of Service Now (SNOW)
  • Sound knowledge of ESD working practices and general Health & Safety
  • Good MS Office tool skills
