Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for unexpected BRC and customer audits to uphold AA+ grade
  • Coordinate pest control measures and resolve non-conformance issues
  • Lead the QA/Technical team and manage daily operations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and traceability in partnership with production
  • Assist with customer visits from a technical standpoint
  • Deliver training and support to production and QA personnel
  • Oversee shelf-life sampling and conduct microbiological testing
  • Track Technical KPIs and share insights internally
  • Act as a quality advocate for all product specifications and visual standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a QA position within the food manufacturing sector
  • Certification in Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Certification in Level 3 HACCP

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of microbiology
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal) and basic numeracy
  • Organized and systematic work approach
  • Good computer skills
  • Understanding of food regulations, BRC Global Standards, and customer guidelines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to mentor on non-conformance matters
