Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Radiology Practitioner to become part of our dynamic and high-achieving Radiology team within the Radiology Centre. This role presents an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and seasoned professionals to enhance their expertise and advance their careers in radiological practices, ensuring exceptional care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The Clinical Radiology Practitioner team operates on weekdays only, with no requirements for out-of-hours duties.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with Radiographers, Radiologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Sonographers. Responsibilities include serving as a scrub assistant during sterile procedures, monitoring patient observations, administering medications, and overseeing patient care throughout various Radiology services.
Prior experience in Radiology or scrub roles is preferred. Experience in specialties such as high dependency care, acute medicine, surgery, and day investigations will be beneficial.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess individual patient care requirements and formulate, implement, and evaluate care plans for patients with complex medical histories in line with established policies and professional standards.
- Assist in interventional and diagnostic radiological procedures, taking on roles such as scrub nurse/ODP, circulating nurse, and procedural list coordinator.
- Adapt to the service's needs with flexibility.
