We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of adults with autism. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a small, friendly team within a supported living environment in Plymouth.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support and care to individuals with autism, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to ensure smooth operations and high standards of care.
- Lead and motivate a team of dedicated support workers, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to each person's needs and aspirations.
- Promote the well-being and independence of individuals, encouraging their active participation in community activities.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practices within the supported living setting.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for supporting adults with autism.
- You will have significant experience working with individuals with autism, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3/4 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team are essential.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and best practices within social care is highly valued.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
