Role Overview
Join our dynamic team within the UK's leading flexible multi-temperature logistics network. We specialize in the procurement, storage, selection, and distribution of products for some of the most cherished food and beverage brands across the nation, ensuring an exceptional service experience for our clients.
This position is crucial to our operations, based in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to consistently meet and exceed corporate objectives.
- Utilize voice technology to unload supplier vehicles, conduct quality checks, and adhere to client specifications, including necessary temperature monitoring.
- Operate powered pallet trucks (PPT) to ensure all received products are accurately checked, labeled, stacked securely, and wrapped according to established procedures, facilitating efficient order assembly.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) protocols, while maintaining clear emergency exits.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude, while being open to additional tasks as required.
- Achieve performance targets with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to your work.
Required Skills
Candidates should possess basic numeracy and literacy skills and demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of Food Hygiene practices are advantageous but not mandatory.
