About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced female mental health support worker to join our team in a brand new and rewarding service. You will be instrumental in supporting a remarkable woman with complex learning difficulties and mental health needs as she embarks on her journey towards independent living.

This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering person-centered care and possesses a deep understanding of positive behavioral support. You will work closely with the individual, her family, and our team to ensure she receives the highest quality of care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and individualized support to a female with complex learning difficulties and mental health needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Implement positive behavior support strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the individual's family and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent experience. A strong understanding of mental health principles and practices is essential.

You should be a compassionate, patient, and resilient individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is highly valued.
