About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Norwood. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding and supporting individuals in their day-to-day activities, promoting independence and self-reliance.
  • Encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
  • Accompanying individuals to routine appointments, ensuring seamless coordination and support.
  • Teaching essential life skills, such as budgeting, shopping, and managing bills, promoting financial literacy and responsibility.
  • Assisting with personal care and, if required, administering medication, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our service users.
  • Contributing to household tasks, such as cleaning and cooking, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
