Position Overview


Due to a substantial increase in project demands, our client is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to join their team.

The successful applicant will be professionally qualified and have experience in managing projects across the relevant sectors.

In collaboration with the project team, you will provide leadership and support for the execution of assigned contracts, which will involve overseeing site teams and addressing any technical, operational, and commercial challenges associated with various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute contracts in coordination with the regional team, internal departments, and subcontractors in line with company policies.

• Assume responsibility for all assigned projects, including reviewing estimates and designs to ensure feasibility, and guiding projects from order receipt to completion.

• Conduct inspections of ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures and specifications, ensuring that projects are delivered according to the correct designs.

• Ensure that HSEQ plans and Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are prepared for contracts in accordance with company standards.

• Participate in regular meetings with the project team to provide updates on project progress and, if necessary, propose recommendations for successful delivery.

• Provide the commercial team with all relevant information and documentation to support contract variations and final account submissions for payment.

• Collaborate with design and estimating teams to ensure budget and labor requirements are met and that ground conditions align with calculations.

• Ensure all projects are planned and executed in accordance with company policies while maintaining and enhancing the professional image of the company.

• Analyze and interpret detailed client requirements, drawings, and specifications.

• Work efficiently under deadline pressures, maintaining composure and effectiveness.

• Assist the organization in achieving financial targets.

• Manage suppliers and subcontractors to enhance safety, performance, and profitability.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering projects with a diplomatic yet hands-on approach to client and team management.

• Proven track record of handling technically complex and challenging projects, showcasing a proactive leadership style.

• Experience across a variety of works, including multi-disciplinary techniques.

• Strong understanding of all stages of the contracting process, with the ability to develop both technically and commercially.

• Capable of identifying site requirements to effectively produce suitable delivery plans.

• Skilled in correspondence and negotiation with clients, suppliers, contractors, and colleagues.

• Ability to manage conflicting demands on time and availability, demonstrating effective prioritization and scheduling skills.

• Monitor, progress, and implement controls to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Develop and select effective solutions to complex project requirements, considering both risks and opportunities.

• Communicate facts, ideas, and proposals to all stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.

• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
