Children and Young People Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Disabilities and Autism Children & Young People Navigator. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs and their families.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the voice of children and young people with complex needs is captured and heard. This will involve troubleshooting to ensure necessary support is in place, promoting effective communication, and fostering positive relationships with various professionals and services.
The role demands a keen understanding of health and social care systems, coupled with the ability to coordinate multi-agency efforts for the benefit of children and young people.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with:
- Experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information without compromising confidentiality or trust.
- Methodical approach and attention to detail.
