Secondary Education Director Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team of National Secondary Education Directors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in leading the delivery of outstanding education and school performance across our academies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Academy Improvement Plans (AIPs) and Curriculum Led Financial Plans (CLFPs) to drive educational outcomes and improve academy performance.
  • Effectively line and performance manage headteachers, ensuring they successfully implement their performance objectives and maintain a focus on teaching and learning quality.
  • Oversee the construction and delivery of Post Ofsted Action Plans (POAPs), providing additional support as needed.
  • Quality assure and approve key documentation, including CLFPs, Academy Self-Evaluations, and AIPs, ensuring adherence to our School Improvement Strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience of trust-wide leadership and/or inspection experience as an Ofsted Inspector or HMI, and/or Executive Headship.
  • Proven successful mentoring and coaching of colleagues.
  • Experience of Ofsted processes and ability to analyse and interpret data to inform planning, target setting, and academy performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
