About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality cancer nursing services to patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with breast cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Work closely with breast surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct patient education and support to promote informed decision-making and empowerment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience in breast care
  • Master's degree (or working towards) in a relevant field or equivalent/higher postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in managing complex and difficult emotional situations
