Business Analyst - Transformation Programme

Hybrid - Guildford

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our UK Transformation Programme as a key member of our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing the target operating model for our Commercial business.

The purpose of this role is to enable organisational change by using specialised business analysis, change management skills, and a disciplined business analysis approach. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business and IT to contribute to the delivery of a varied portfolio of work, while building effective relationships across all levels.

About the Role

  • Support the scoping of change initiatives required for the Transformation Programme, working within the Business Analysis Framework
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation to elicit, define, and manage business requirements, ensuring clear end-to-end traceability
  • Support the development, systems testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of solutions by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and business stakeholders

About You

  • You'll be passionate about the BA role and have worked on several change projects, utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • You'll have solid experience creating Epics and User Stories using Confluence and Jira
  • You'll have a good understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams, and Personas
  • You can apply recognised industry-standard modelling techniques, including data modelling and BPMN
  • You'll have a good understanding of Business Change support activities
  • You'll have great stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • You'll have experience working in a Financial Services environment, particularly General Insurance is desirable, but not essential
  • You'll have an agile mindset, with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivering against business priorities

Qualifications:

  • A Level education or equivalent
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent (Desirable)
