Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Airport Hospitality Team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and operational standards.
  • Following recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
  • Utilizing various kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Collaborating with the Commis Chef and Senior Chef to prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Presenting dishes to a high standard, maintaining the quality of food offerings.
  • Managing stock levels, receiving deliveries, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of supplies.
  • Conducting stock counts and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Upholding hygiene standards by cleaning and organizing the kitchen area.
  • Disposing of waste responsibly and adhering to recycling protocols.
  • Training new staff members to ensure adherence to high service standards.
  • Working flexibly according to the scheduled rota.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 2 Commis Chef or equivalent qualifications.
  • A strong background in the hospitality sector with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
  • Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef, ready to advance in their career.
  • Proficient skills in food production and preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling and storing food.
  • A collaborative spirit with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
