Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Day to day hands on role , this is a busy city centrehotel
  • Report directly to the Executive Sous Chef.
  • Be part of a passionate team of chefs.
  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality food for all food and beverage departments.
  • Support team members in the preparation and presentation of food to established standards.
  • Ensure smooth running of your section and the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef.
  • Organise and supervise food production, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise a team effectively, with previous knowledge of banqueting food as an advantage.
  • Maintain knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP.
  • Administer forecasts, timesheets, rotas, orders, and communicate hotel business.
