About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sub-Contract Manager to join our team at Thales UK. As a key member of our Marine Sensor Enhancement Team (MSET), you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our £1.85 billion contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and be accountable for the overall performance and compliance of key Suppliers.
  • Coordinate and lead sub-contract reviews, including identification and mobilisation of internal support required to execute sub-contracts from other Thales departments.
  • Monitor the performance of Suppliers and update the procurement dashboard, engaging with other Procurement key stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Enforce contractual agreements and ensure timely resolution of subcontract claims.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Suppliers to improve performance, mitigate risk, and capture innovation.
About You
  • You will have a strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle, procurement strategy, and supplier management in best practice environments.
  • You will possess excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with experience building and managing strong relationships across internal stakeholders, partners, and Suppliers.
  • You will have a proven track record of success in a mid-to-senior level procurement role, with experience working in a complex, multinational, multi-site organisation.
