About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Project Engineer to join our team at Forseven. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our vehicle systems and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, computer science, electronic or automotive engineering, and experience with vehicle network technologies such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and Bluetooth. You will also have knowledge of common ECU security measures such as SecOC, Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, and UDS Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver work products specified by the Cybersecurity Plan for assigned vehicle components to achieve vehicle Type Approval.
  • Create TARAs, Cybersecurity Concepts, Vulnerability Analysis, Architecture Design, IV&V Test Specifications, and other required work products.
  • Attend sub-system design reviews to resolve cybersecurity concerns.
  • Perform system review, verification & validation activities including functional tests, penetration testing, and other tests throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electronic or Automotive Engineering related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to promote the importance of vehicle cybersecurity within the organisation.
  • Knowledge of ISO21434 and Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of vehicle network technologies such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and Bluetooth.
  • Knowledge of common ECU security measures such as SecOC, Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, and UDS Security.
  • Dynamic and pro-active attitude to problem solving.
  • Awareness of ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
