Cybersecurity Specialist

We're seeking a Cybersecurity Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for ensuring the electrical and electronic content in our vehicles is resilient against cyber-attacks, meeting global regulatory requirements.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our locations in Leamington Spa, Bicester, or Guildford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field, shaping the future of our forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver work products specified by the Cybersecurity Plan for assigned vehicle components, ensuring successful vehicle Type Approval.
- Create TARAs, Cybersecurity Concepts, Vulnerability Analysis, Architecture Design, IV&V Test Specifications, and other required work products.
- Attend sub-system design reviews to resolve cybersecurity concerns.
- Meet with suppliers and Technical Partners to ensure they deliver in accordance with their Cybersecurity Interface Agreement Document (CIAD).
- Perform system review, verification & validation activities, including functional tests, penetration testing, and other tests throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering related degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills, promoting the importance of vehicle cybersecurity within the organization.
- Knowledge of ISO21434 and Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) or equivalent.
- Experience with vehicle network technologies, such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and Bluetooth.
- Knowledge of common ECU security measures, such as SecOC, Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, and UDS Security.
- Dynamic and proactive attitude to problem-solving.
- Awareness of ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
