We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our commercial refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the activities of site staff, including site managers and assistant site managers.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the client's requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including site reports and quality control documentation.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
- Proven experience in commercial refurbishment projects, with a strong understanding of design detail and construction methods.
- Trade or degree-qualified in a relevant field, such as construction management or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
