Job Title: Claims Advisor/Senior Claims Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Advisor/Senior Claims Advisor to join our team at MBA. As a key member of our claims handling team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Liability claims, including Employers Liability, Personal Liability, and Commercial claims of varying values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Liability claims, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and understanding policy cover to ensure customer awareness.
  • Negotiate settlements, handle pushbacks, and manage claims to swift resolution.
  • Liaise with third parties involved in the claim, maintaining high levels of service delivery.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in handling EL + PL claims up to £75,000.
  • An insurance qualification, such as the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or equivalent.
  • Ability to prioritize claims, act on instructions, and adapt to a KPI target environment.
  • Knowledge of FSA procedures and the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative.
