We are seeking a highly skilled Publishing Services Manager to join our team at Emerald Publishing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding of newly acquired journals and editorial teams.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding and Integration: Collaborate with other departments to successfully onboard newly acquired journals and editorial teams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain productive and trusting working relationships with customers to ensure effective customer service.
- Editorial and Ethical Matters: Proactively and collaboratively manage any editorial and ethical matters to achieve successful outcomes.
- Indexing and Reporting: Assist editorial teams in submitting journals to various indexing services and deliver journal statistics reporting on usage and citations.
- Content Development: Monitor actual article output versus contracted output to identify opportunities for increasing content.
- Additional Services: Proactively offer relevant paid-for additional services to customers.
- Agreement Renewal and Service Interruption: Assist with the renewal of customer agreements and manage service interruption as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
