As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting in the processing of purchase orders, maintaining and updating supplier databases, and liaising with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and pricing.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including invoice reconciliation and report preparation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or buying role.
- Strong background in Sage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
