Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice

RPS Group is on the lookout for a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice to join our dynamic Renewable Energy Infrastructure division.

The selected individual will engage in a 4-day work week with RPS, dedicating 1 day each week to academic pursuits at their university. Key responsibilities will include assisting in the execution of civil infrastructure design packages for renewable energy initiatives, encompassing projects such as onshore wind and terrestrial works for offshore wind. The role may also encompass tasks related to on-site access design, watercourse crossings, and sustainable drainage solutions. A keen interest in acquiring multidisciplinary expertise is advantageous and will facilitate support across environmental, geotechnical, and structural disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • SQA Highers at BBBB or ABBBB (Mathematics preferred but not mandatory)
  • A-Levels at ABC or BBB
  • Scottish Baccalaureate Pass
  • International Baccalaureate 29 points
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering alongside SQA Highers at AAB (Mathematics preferred but not mandatory)
  • A combination of qualifications totaling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or a minimum of 126 UCAS points
