About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead our IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end project delivery, excellent experience in working with agile methodology, and a strong understanding of project lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Provide coaching and leadership to project team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects
  • Expertise in agile methodology and project lifecycle phases
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams, conflicting priorities, and differing reporting lines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to grasp complex business and technical issues

Desirable Qualifications

  • Prince 2 Practitioner certification
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience working in the rail industry
  • Knowledge of project management tools, such as MitreFinch, COINS, Union Square, and OpenAccounts
