About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to join our team at VolkerWessels UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all technology assets within the business, including hardware, software, licenses, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire IT asset lifecycle, from procurement to disposal and renewal.
  • Track IT asset usage, including SaaS applications, data, and systems.
  • Implement and maintain effective software asset management practices to ensure license compliance and optimize usage.
  • Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Negotiate contracts, licenses, and warranties with ICT department and suppliers.
  • Analyze IT asset data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide IT asset management support and guidance to IT staff and business users.
  • Establish and maintain IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.About You

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT asset management, software asset management, and configuration management.

    The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong understanding of IT asset management principles and practices.
