You will also be responsible for innovating to improve service delivery and ensuring financial sustainability. This will involve managing and coordinating the activities of delivery teams for effective resource use.

Additionally, you will supervise employees, including performance management, recruitment, and disciplinaries. You will also utilize sensor technology data and ensure staff efficiency in its use.

Other key responsibilities include advocating for outstanding customer service and developing robust performance management systems. You will also contribute to various strategies and liaise with external organizations where applicable.

Finally, you will ensure health and safety compliance and adherence to policies, as well as oversee financial operations with integrity and due diligence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have leadership/management qualification or relevant practical experience. You will also need operational management experience with fleet and plant vehicles.

Financial control knowledge, including budget management and value for money, is also essential. People management experience with a strong focus on leadership is also required.

Proficiency in technology use for daily operations is necessary, as well as experience in writing and revising Risk Assessments, COSHH, and IOSH.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are also essential. A current full driving licence is also required.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of circa £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, as well as 27 days annual leave + bank holidays increasing to 32 days after 5 years service.
