About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment to children and young people who present with mental health issues.

Your expertise will be invaluable in formulating and delivering psychologically informed brief interventions, working collaboratively with children, young people, and their families to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality assessment and treatment to children and young people with mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Engage with children, young people, and their families to promote understanding and empowerment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical supervision.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with an approved body.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the post.
  • Key skills in literacy, numeracy, and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent).
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area.
