About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic and motivated team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of our Harrogate Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment to children and young people who present with mental health issues.

With a strong emphasis on formulation and psychologically informed brief interventions, you will work collaboratively with children and young people, as well as their carers and families, to deliver high-quality planned care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment to children and young people with mental health issues
  • Work collaboratively with children and young people, carers, and families to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality care and engage in quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with an approved body
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the post
  • Key skills in literacy, numeracy, and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area
