About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Dismantle vehicles for panel shop preparation, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues.
  • Order replacement parts and reassemble vehicles with new parts as required, restoring them to pre-accident condition.
Requirements
  • Plan and manage your workload effectively to meet agreed-upon timescales.
  • Work efficiently and safely under pressure, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team and work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Continuously strive for excellence, maintaining high standards and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with our health and safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
  • Candidates must have experience as a MET in a bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to transition to a bodyshop role.
