Job Summary:

The Portfolio Group is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will provide reliable and commercially focused HR and Employment Law advice to clients on all matters of HR from general to complex queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice to clients on HR-related matters, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Develop and implement solutions to client HR issues, using expert HR and employment law knowledge.
  • Review client documentation and provide advice accordingly, taking into account applicable internal terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that all requests for advice are dealt with within the relevant service level agreement (SLA).

Requirements:

  • Good employment law knowledge, either through studies or working experience.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the workplace is desirable.
  • Previous experience of working in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service centre.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritizing your workload accordingly.
  • An organized self-starter.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
