Technical Operations Manager – Leading Facilities Provider

We invite you to explore a pivotal role within our team, where your expertise will contribute to the operational excellence of our services.

As a Technical Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical functions of our high-profile projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring that all technical operations are executed to the highest standards.
  • Leading and mentoring the maintenance team while coordinating with external contractors.
  • Maintaining a 100% completion rate for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Upholding compliance with health and safety regulations and ensuring that the asset register is regularly updated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Addressing all technical challenges that arise within the projects.
  • Monitoring and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Overseeing health and safety and environmental performance on site.
  • Planning and executing project works and necessary shutdowns.
  • Implementing quality management procedures.
  • Recruiting and developing staff to meet operational needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Managing documentation and reporting.
  • Identifying and pursuing additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Administering the permit system effectively.

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A recognized qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (C&G, HNC, HND or equivalent).
  • A solid understanding of building management systems.
  • Strong technical acumen in engineering.
  • Experience in managing substantial engineering teams.
  • A background in service delivery within prestigious office environments or critical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload efficiently.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and on schedule.
