Join our dynamic communications team in a pivotal role as a Public Relations Coordinator, where you will contribute to enhancing our brand's image as the leading experts in home and garden solutions.
In this role, you will be at the center of our organization, collaborating with various internal departments and external agency partners to craft innovative campaigns and foster ongoing dialogues with both the media and our internal teams. We pride ourselves on a 'team first' culture, dedicated to our employees and our commitment to positively impacting local communities through initiatives such as product donations and community support.
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on Experience) PLUS bonus earning potential
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Location: Hybrid working model - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote each week.
*Note: During peak periods, office attendance may increase to 4 days per week, but typically you can expect to work from home 1 to 2 days weekly.*
Key Responsibilities:
(Including but not limited to)
- Overseeing daily consumer public relations activities, effectively promoting our brand as the go-to experts in home and garden.
- Managing the press office, including handling media inquiries, product loans, and nurturing journalist relationships.
- Creating and executing seasonal campaigns, including new product launches that capture attention.
- Collaborating closely with agency partners and internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
Qualifications for Success:
We are seeking a passionate individual who is enthusiastic about retail and excels in securing high-quality press coverage while engaging our customers and team members daily. While extensive experience in public relations is not mandatory, we value creativity, strong writing abilities, and a proactive attitude. Expect a diverse and dynamic work environment where no two days are alike.
