Accounts Payable Manager

Orka Financial is currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Accounts Payable Manager for a prominent business in the Reading area. This position requires a highly skilled individual to oversee the financial transaction process and ensure timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full purchase ledger process, including the creation and approval of purchase orders, invoices, and payments in various currencies and types.
- Develop and maintain reports using data from Oracle to track financial transactions and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the accounts payable function to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and supervise the accounts payable department and staff to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to company policies.
- Proven experience in managing an accounts payable function, with a strong understanding of financial transaction processes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work methodically and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
