In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care within our imaging department. You will work closely with radiographers and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations and provide a positive experience for every patient.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients throughout their imaging journey, from preparation to post-examination support.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, adhering to established protocols and procedures to maintain a high standard of patient care.
  • Assist radiographers in performing radiological examinations, ensuring accurate image capture and patient comfort.
  • Manage patient appointments and inquiries efficiently using our Radiology IT systems.
  • Contribute to the smooth workflow of the department by assisting with stock management and ordering supplies.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Care Certificate.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 1 in Healthcare or be committed to pursuing it, with the ambition to achieve NVQ Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Maths and English at GCSE level A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
  • Exhibit strong computer skills, including familiarity with software and systems.
  • Have previous experience as an Imaging Assistant or in a similar healthcare role.
