Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at ISS Facility Services UK. As a key member of our corporate services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of Total Facilities Management (TFM) services in a corporate client building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality TFM services, including cleaning, workplace/front of house, engineering, waste management, and day-to-day catering support.
    • Manage the maintenance, repair, and renewal of the building's fabric and mechanical and electrical (M&E) assets.
  • Health and Safety
    • Deliver and maintain a high level of health and safety standards for the area of responsibility.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Financial Management
    • Support the customer's operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
    • Manage and control budgets for required service streams.
  • People Management
    • Line manage individuals delivering services within the corporate buildings.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all clients receive consistent, first-class delivery of service.
    • Audit the quality of all services provided within the area of responsibility and track remedial actions to completion.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualifications
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 products.
  • Business Acumen
    • Experience in total facilities management.
    • Great people management skills.
    • Customer-facing skills.
    • Ability to deliver to deadlines and contract service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Self-starting and proactive with the ability to work independently with limited support.
    • An open and honest communicator with a passion for understanding operational issues and problem-solving.
