Technical Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at CV Library in Oxfordshire. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing a sales pipeline, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales experience in technical products and services to industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in international sales territory management.
  • Proven track record of selling technical services and developing repeat customers and key accounts.
  • Experience navigating capital approval procedures.
  • Strong understanding of customer types and industries, particularly target markets such as the Semiconductor industry, microfiltration, laser welding of dissimilar materials, bio/medical and electronic devices, optical apertures / X-ray imaging.
