Job Overview

Our Edinburgh office is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our successful Project Controls Team. As a key member of the team, you will work with a diverse range of clients to deliver best-in-class project controls, planning, analytics, and reporting solutions.

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring seamless collaboration with project stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collecting and analyzing project data from multiple teams to update project schedules and cost reports
  2. Preparing regular reports to measure progress against project baselines
  3. Supporting the Project Controls Manager in ensuring the governance and assurance of project controls processes
  4. Collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop effective project controls strategies
Requirements
  1. A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or a related discipline, with experience in a project control environment
  2. Proven experience in project or program management, with a focus on delivery or controls of individual projects, programs, or portfolios
  3. Proficiency in project controls software applications, such as Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project stakeholders
  6. Demonstrated understanding of project controls concepts and principles
